Free Version of Adobe Photoshop
March 27, 2008
Adobe has released a basic version of it's Photoshop graphics program. Called Photoshop Express, it's a web-based graphics editor. I haven't given it a spin, but if you've been yearning for Photoshop but it was beyond your means, you might want to give this a shot. (Via ZDnet)
On the other hand, if you'd rather go with a full-featured graphics program that runs on your desktop and is equally as free, you might want to try Paint.net. I tried out this program back when I was thinking I wanted to learn more about editing graphics, and it has a ton of features. Lots of good feedback from the graphics community, too. (As for wanting to learn more about editing graphics, that's on the backburner right now. Too much on my to-do list!)
