Focus, Focus ... Or Not

March 06, 2008

Last month, right in the midst of all these great plans, I took an impromptu break.

I seem to have a pattern of doing this. But now I'm back deep in the thick of things, and it occurs to me that (for me) these breaks are quite necessary. Not only do I come back to my online work with renewed energy, but there's always a shift forward.

One of the wonderful things about being an affiliate marketer is that you CAN take these breaks without a disruption in income. And this past week, I've been making up for my time offline - I've implemented a ton of things on my to-do list (plus added a lot more things).

So, if you feel you're stagnating, I'd suggest this: take a break. Whether it's a day, a week, a few weeks, even a month, as long as you keep an eye on your sites and Adwords campaigns, making sure everything is up and running, you might find, like I do, that you come back to your online adventures with renewed energy and yes, more focus.

Hey, Jon - good to have you come by! No, I didn't realize that about Campaign Blasts. It's likely because of this template I'm using - the left sidebar source code comes first and I don't know enough about working with the Typepad templates to edit it :) But Campaign Blasts definitely is a good ebook for using Adwords!
