My Niche Marketing Journey

If you've been reading here for any length of time, you probably know that one of my "laments" is that my most successful sites are all very broadly niched. And also, affiliate commissions from CJ, Linkshare and Shareasale form the bulk of my income. (Well, okay, it's not really a lament. I quite like my sites and my source of income.)
In other words, I have not done well with (a) niche sites, (b) Adsense and (c) affiliate marketing of digital products. And up until now, I have not branched out into product creation and email marketing.
I like that the focus of Adventures in Net Marketing is on the affiliate marketing of physical products. Making a good income from this has been my goal from the very beginning, and I find myself very much on track. 2008 is going to be a very exciting year for me, and I'm off to a good start. A few days ago, I gained five green bars at CJ, up from four. I'm seeing that as a sign that this year will be an even better year for me with these networks.
But diversification is key. So a couple of months ago, I started a new blog: Niche Marketing Journey. At Niche Marketing Journey, I discuss the issues I face as I begin addressing some new goals. I started the blog mainly to help motivate myself to explore diversified streams of income.
So if you're interested in niche marketing and building a VRE (virtual real estate) empire, please join me over at Niche Marketing Journey, too. I'll still be blogging here about affiliate marketing things, though, so no need to unsub from here.
And yes, I am once again testing my ability to focus on a multitude of areas online. I have a different (more rested) mindset this year, and I do think it's doable.
