A Sale, and Relief (and Some Jubilation)

Late post, I know. It's 1:15 a.m. my time, and I'm up way too late. The past few months, I've actually been getting to bed by midnight! So tonight feels a bit strange.
I'm a little blurry eyed from going through a ton of blogs, looking for feeds to add to my feedreader to complement the two new blogs that are part of my content sites plan.
(Actually, I think my contacts might be stuck to my eyeballs but that's okay for now. It won't be okay when I go upstairs to take them out - the contacts, I mean - but it's perfectly fine for blogging. Really.)
But I was just checking some of my merchant networks, and feel both relieved and jubilant. I've been running a new Campaign Blasts-type Adwords campaign for a new merchant, and it's been a nerve-wracking couple of days.
I'm getting a ton of impressions, and more clicks than I've ever gotten before.
More clicks from an Adsense publisher point of view is a good thing. More clicks from an Adwords advertiser point of view is a "it all depends" kind of thing.
I'm following the Campaign Blast method strictly by the book, and I didn't have enough data yet to pull the plug on this particular merchant. Even though I'm only paying between six to ten cents a click, still, it's been adding up in a way I'm not that used to.
You'd think with all those clicks, I'd have gotten at least one sale by now.
Well, I have! So I feel much much better.
I plan on expanding this campaign. The reason? I've actually been getting thousands of impressions, and I really think if I nose around, I should be able to come up with some nice, juicy "I want to buy NOW" keywords to play with.
Now I feel like putting more "blasts" up. But it's late ... and I've got to get those contacts of mine unglued.
