Becoming an A-List Blogger
October 26, 2006
Oh, if it really could be that easy ...
Brian Chin points to this post at New Media Musings, reporting on the Digital Hollywood conference, where Jason Calacanis makes it look so simple:
"If you want to be an A-list blogger, the formula is very simple. Pick the top story on TechMeme every day for 30 days and link to three other A-list bloggers who are blogging about the topic."
Actually, I thought this comment from Mary Hodder, CEO of Dabble, kind of sums up how many top blogs became successful: "People want someone who can filter interesting things for them." She's talking about the Web video world, but it's just as applicable to any niche online.
Food for thought.
