Some Dumb Glitches, But I Still Love My Work

I ran into some user-created glitches this past week (in other words, me doing dumb things) but it sure cleared one thing up for me. Hostgator has great support. (I think I've mentioned this before, haven't I?)

Since I've been ecstatic about a web host before, only to have it then go downhill from there, I'm really hoping Hostgator won't change.

And I love that 24/7 chat support.

(No, I'm not going to even hint at what my dumb errors were. That's how dumb they were. And I'm getting red just thinking about how figuring out it was MY error took support tickets to a few different places, not just Hostgator.)

Asfor loving my work, it just hit me today, as I was going through merchants, joining more programs so that I can start livening up some of my 50 affiliate sites (actually, it's more like only about 30-something, kind of blank and empty but all but a handful ARE indexed, sites - the "kind of blank and empty" part is what I'm working on these days.)

There is something about looking at various merchants, assessing their product line, seeing whether they are a good fit for your sites, that really thrill me.

I'm also working on some shopping blogs, so the new merchants and new products will come in handy for them, too.

I find that I have a different feeling when I'm working on an affiliate-linked page or post, rather than just a regular page or post, that only has Adsense potential.

With an affiliate-linked page or post, I always feel like there's so much potential once I make it live or hit publish.

I love that part of it too.

It's a good thing I love this work - I think it would be hard to stay persistent and committed otherwise. August has been good so far to me, which also helps.
