An (Unofficial) Announcement

It's not "official" yet - we're working on the written contract so nothing's signed, sealed or delivered - but I wanted to let all of you know that I am the new editor of Darren Rowse's Camera Phone Reviews Blog.
I'm still an "independent" - Darren and I have worked out a revenue-sharing arrangement that we're both happy with - and I've been working as the unofficial editor of the blog for the past few weeks or so.
I'm pretty excited about this. It's an incredible experience, working with Darren and having him train me to take on his role as editor at Camera Phone Reviews. I've learned so much already, and Darren has been wonderful to work with. He is also very efficient and productive.
So now I really am a working blogger! While I have quite a few blogs up and running, most of them are fairly new (in the whole search engine scheme of things), and the major portion of my online income is currently made from affiliate websites rather than from blogging (not that that has stopped me from feeling like I'm a working blogger, mind you). It's great to have this opportunity to get my feet wet as a "problogger", working with probably one of the best known professional bloggers out there.
Some days, actually, I pinch myself. Can this be real?
One thing I've been discovering. Pro blogging definitely takes a lot of discipline. I'm hoping this new discipline and productivity will rub off on some of my other online projects ...

Wow! That's great news, BJ. You keep up on your blog better than most people I've seen. I know I'm not so good at the daily posting. And you are a great writer that keeps things casual but interesting. Good luck! (though I don't think luck will be needed)
