Adsense Roller Coaster
October 04, 2005
Has anyone been experiencing an Adsense roller coaster ride this past week? I had dismal results on the weekend - it wasn't so much the number of clicks dropping but more the amount of each click. Now I seem to have not only bounced back, but gone above what I was averaging before.
As to whether or not it will stay that way, who knows? That's one problem I have with Adsense - my monthly averages just aren't very consistent.
My biggest income generating site is one that Google has always ignored. Yahoo's always been pretty good to it, though, and I just checked my stats and see that I'm actually number one at MSN for my main keyword. (And just as obviously, my target market doesn't use MSN Search much!).
With these higher click amounts, I'm starting to wonder whether I should try and get the site into Google's good graces somehow..

I can sympathize - my ride has been going on for a month now :)

My Adsense income isn't very consistent either. It's on a general upswing due to reading Joel Comm's ebook, but I still have wild swings. I don't get it.
