PageRank at the Forums

The SEO world is still buzzing about the disappearance of Google PageRank from the toolbar. Long discussions are being held at various SEO forums – for a list of links to various threads, see End of Toolbar Pagerank?
There’s definitely a ton of speculation going on. Is Google doing away with PageRank overall? Or just public (toolbar) PageRank? Is this paving the way for implementation of TrustRank?
But really, speculation aside, all we can do about it is keep on building sites and adding content …
