Speaking of Adsense Earnings ...

Now that Google has loosened the Adsense TOS to allow disclosure of Adsense earnings, there's a great thread going on at WebmasterWorld Forums on Adsense earnings.
(I'm getting quite fond of using lots of words in my blog links.)
It's quite an inspirational read. In some cases, I've been following people's progress for a while, and it's nice to see that people who started back in the fall are doing well with their sites.
As for me? I'd disclose my Adsense earnings but the point is to be inspired, not have everyone fall asleep with boredom. (Plus, I don't want to hear anyone laughing.) Seriously, though, as you may have noticed (since I just added an Adsense category yesterday), I haven't really thought that much about Adsense until recently. I have it on one site that's out of the sandbox but I haven't been pushing it at all, and it's just not something that fits with the other site. But Adsense is definitely something that's in my new strategy.
I'm still working on the preliminary stuff for all my sites (read: Wordtracker research - big yawn but totally necessary) and will post an update on my progress soon. This is a good sign for me, because it does mean there has been some progress.

That is an interesting thread. I like to surf through the adsense category at webmasterworld occassionally. The big payouts are certainly possible -- just pick a good category and get lots of traffic. Now if I just had the TIME to develop all those sites. ;)
