Spoofstick Extension for Firefox and IE

February 25, 2005

Spoofstick is an extension for Firefox (and Internet Explorer) that will help you detect a spoofed site. Basically, it strips out all other information except for the relevant domain information (i.e. the ".com" information) so you can see at a glance the domain you're on.

Very helpful, especially if you let down your guard and accidentally click on a "sort of Paypal" link in an email.
