Getting Down to Business

I'm working on a deadline for tomorrow, and then I have five days freed up to work on all my sites. This is pretty exciting, because I've been deluged with deadlines for the past five months - great for my bank account but not so great in terms of really committing to my new web publishing business.
I've also come up with a game plan. I know myself too well, and know that, despite all the wisdom out there about working on one site and getting it online before moving on to another one, I need to be working on several things at once.
So with that in mind, and to make sure I don't fritter away my days in between deadlines, I've decided to work on the three different types of sites I've been planning, all at once. I'll be working on a Martell-type site, using SEO Website Builder, a database site, and an informational site.
First step, I think, is to just do a big to-do list with everything I need to do for each site on it. Then I'll just make sure I'm always working on something on the list.
I figure, it might take a bit longer, but at least I'll be able to focus without going off on different tangents every few hours. And at the end of it all, I'll have three sites up and can start on the next three.

Hey BJ,
That sounds like a plan to me - that's actually how I work now LOL and it works out peachy.
I work on at least 2 client projects and one of my own projects. The client projects normally get done before my own, but it keeps my mind from going crazy :)

I too, have to work on several projects at once or I get derailed lol. I have 3 ongoing projects at the moment while keep up with my jobs and unfortunately trying to replace one of those jobs as well.
