Dr. Andy Fan Here

In the last couple of months, I've become a huge Dr. Andy fan. I stumbled on the EZ SEO site quite a while ago - I was pretty impressed with Andy's reviews, but I wasn't in a newsletter sign-up mood at the time. It took me a while to stumble back on his site again, and I luckily did sign up for his newsletter then.
The EZ SEO newsletter comes out every Sunday and I watch out for it like a hawk. It is at the top of my list of Newsletters Well Worth Reading. My opinion is that the information on his sites and in his newsletters could easily be bundled up and sold as an ebook. When you sign up for the newsletter, you get access to some free reports, and the nice thing about these free reports is that they contain some really great information.
A little while ago, he released his first Niche Blueprint to his subscribers. It was available for only a few days and then he took down the link. I was so impressed with the Training Manual that came with the Blueprint - it is a detailed, step-by-step plan for developing niche sites.
I've also corresponded with Andy a few times, and he's as nice via regular email as he is in his newsletter.
People advise you to pick a "guru" and stick with him. I'd say that Dr. Andy was my guru of choice, only he would probably never style himself a guru. If you haven't checked out his site yet, it's definitely worth the visit.
