17.7 Million New Online Shoppers

According to JupiterMedia, the 22% increase in online spending during the 2004 holiday season was due largely to 17.7 million people who made their first online purchases.
This still is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
As for me? I think it's time to start planning my Christmas lineup of sites.
