Microsoft's Anti-Spyware Software

January 11, 2005

I've been a long-time user of both Ad-Aware and SpyBot S&D, but this weekend I downloaded Microsoft's beta anti-spyware software on all our computers and I was very impressed. The software found trojans that both Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D had missed on my kids' computers, as well as various spyware on our office computers. Everything is running quicker now - very nice.

It also offers real-time protection which is great for the kids' computers, given their Internet surfing patterns.

I'm now running all three programs to be on the super safe side, but Microsoft does make things easier by allowing me to check for updates automatically.

The software is available for free for now, and well worth a try. And anything that works to get rid of  cookie-stealing parasites out there is great from an affiliate marketing perspective!

I downloaded it a few days ago myself and was very impressed. Like you, I have been dedicated to those two other programs as well. I was hoping it would fix the problem on my desktop but unforunately I am going to have to reformat that thing.

Best Wishes
Stefani :)
