Take Action Weekly Wrap-Up

I am quite embarassed to see that I have not done a single thing that was on my list last week! Another avalanche of work - at this rate, I won't be getting that many sites up.
The good news is that after this week, things will slow down to a normal pace (I seem to remember saying that recently, though). I am going to be firm about things this time, which means that I WILL turn down work. I really will. It's just so hard, though, because I always have about four weeks every year (usually in the summer) when things are slow and those four weeks are always the weeks that stick in my memory.
So every morning I keep reminding myself of all the good things that the last few months of work, work work translates into. I won't have to work so hard the next few months. And this year the hectic season is a few months ahead of Christmas, unlike previous years when taking Christmas Day off felt like such a luxury. And I'm chomping at the bit to get my Web work done so hopefully I'll be able to apply my energies properly when I get a break.
The other good news is that I may have found an assistant. We'll have to go through the training process, and I'm looking for a long-term commitment (the last person I trained was only working to make a few extra bucks, and I discovered the hard way that this just doesn't work out). But it's looking promising.
My new website design is nearly finished (thanks, Teli!) so I will have to think about writing the copy for that.
And it's been awfully hard not writing a lot of personal-blog type stuff in here that gets filed under the "life" category. After seeing Chrissie's cool blog I've been thinking about doing a personal blog as well.
And then I think - am I crazy? Yet another thing on my to-do list? Of course, you know I'll get around to doing it. Eventually.

Thanks for the compliment :) I have so much work and stuff going on that I needed an outlet that wasn't work related, but I couldn't possibly keep up with a business blog right now - direct opposite of you ;)
I turned 30 this year and I wanted the Cosmo design because it reminds me of my fun carefree party days and makes me smile ;)
Good Luck making it work, I am trying to figure it all out myself...
