Looking Back on November
November 29, 2004
It's been a while since I posted - I rather unthinkingly took on a contract that was better left untouched, and it made for quite a busy month. To top things off, I was sick two weekends in a row. Since this month saw more than it's fair share of 5:00 a.m. nights, my commitment to "broadening my income base" via Internet marketing has been reinforced.
By the way, thank you to everyone who emailed to see how I was doing.
I'm still slogging through that contract but have decided I'm going to try and finish most of it this week if possible, instead of through the next three weeks as scheduled. But I wanted to post an update, because the beauty of Internet business is that things still run even when you're not available. Okay, so everyone is always talking about lounging around on a beach somewhere or sleeping snuggly in bed while the ol' Internet cash register chugs away and in my case, it was more like I was slaving at the computer and pulling all-nighters, but still, it works and that's the whole point, right?
So here's my update for the month:
- I managed to get one mini-site out. Still waiting for the spiders though.
- Made some affiliate sales! I was quite impressed with myself, since most of them came while I was knee deep in offline work.
- I'm looking into entering into a joint venture partnership - very exciting stuff.
- Julie at BlogMoxie has started the design of a blog for me.
- Teli has started the design of my next content site.
Now, if I can only get through the rest of this contract ...
- BJ
