It's Friday Already ...

I can't believe it's Friday already. The week has just sped by and while I've been feeling a lot of frustration (not to mention burnout) sitting here day in and day out working on deadlines when I'd much rather be building Web sites, I did make one big decision which I'm hoping will help me move on.
My husband and I decided that, with the time our baby takes up, as well as our two older ones, we simply cannot do everything we've been doing to run and promote our businesses. So our big decision is to outsource all the things we aren't very good at, so we can stick to what we do best.
It's the whole idea of spending money to make money.
So we're now on the hunt for a graphic designer who can create our ads, flyers and brochures.
And I have asked Teli, who runs Buniek, a Website design company, to design a Website for the new company I'm launching.
I'm hoping to have the site up by the end of the month, as a number of opportunities have popped up and I'd like to be in position to take advantage of them.
Teli needs a summary of my business, and I've been so much on fast forward the past few weeks that I don't have anything in mind. Really. My mind blanks out when I think about a one-paragraph summary. On the other hand, I have some idea of the copy for the home page, so I'll probably just go with that.
I also have a content site in mind and I'm hoping Teli can take on the Webdesign aspect of that one, too. That way I can just focus on writing the content. I really like the look of Teli's own sites, and the design ideas she's been giving me have been great.
I may also be implementing a new look for this blog, too, courtesy of Julie at BlogMoxie. She's one busy blog designer, so once I figure out what I want, it will be another three weeks or so before I get the new template. The unfortunate news is that things work differently with a Typepad blog - I can't just get a bunch of "skins" developed.
It's been a busy week, and things look like they will stay busy until the end of October. But at least I'm moving forward!

It's a pleasure to be able to help you out and work on this project with you BJ - no worries with the paragraph, it's just to get an idea of your personality (or that of your company ;) ) for design purposes...

Also, I must thank you for your compliments - you're making me blush - it's been a while since I've been able to just peruse my favorite blogs...but I made some time tonight and very glad I did.
