Site Redesign - A New Look
September 23, 2004
I got a call from an editor today, just following up on an assignment that was due yesterday! I so rarely let something fall through the cracks this way - everything goes into my Daytimer but somehow, this got lost. I think it's because she called me with the assignment instead of sending me an email. I do so much of my work through email, so a phone call is out of the norm.
So yes, this afternoon is being spent frantically getting the assignment done. My editor was quite nice about the whole thing, and it won't throw her print schedule off, which is good.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that in my redesign of the blog yesterday, I removed my "blogroll" - this is because I signed up with Blogrolling, as advised by Paul Short in his Blogger's Edge. But now I have to go and add blogs and figure out how I want the links to look and how to actually stick my blogrolling list to the sidebar.
By the way, I decided to go with a bigger sidebar because I got a little tired of viewing my posts in that little cramped middle position. And I realized that, since I have several posts on the main page, I've got lots of room on the sidebar to stick things, so I don't need two little small ones - not when I can have one nice big one!
I'll be adding a Top Ten Internet Marketing Resources list soon, too.
Wish me luck meeting this deadline!
