Niche Marketing Idea

I've been following this thread, started by Jason Lewis at the Warrior Forum with great interest.
(The Warrior Forum is a private forum in which guests are free to browse but must register in order to post. You're supposed to buy a product which offers membership in the forum as a free bonus, but aside from the Host4Profit Web hosting service, I haven't run across any products which offer membership as a bonus. I'm sure they're out there - I just haven't noticed them.)
I like Jason's idea of using articles to promote niche affiliate products for which you have no interest in developing a separate Web site. Kind of like articles as Adwords, without having to pay for the clicks, and with the added benefit that the articles have far longer lives than the average Adword campaign. His idea of using articles to get visitors to a specific mini-product reviews page on your site that also has Adsense sounds pretty usable, too.
Since it was such a good idea, I decided to check out Jason's site. Funny how one thing leads to another ... oh wait, that's marketing, isn't it?
Anyway, it turns out he offers a free newsletter that's filled with his ideas for making money both online and offline. I've signed up - it seemed to me that the idea he posted was quite a solid one (and maybe that was the reason he made the post? Well, I'm glad he did), so I thought his newsletter would be worth a try. I'll have to make sure I dig it out of my overflowing Internet marketing mailbox when the first issue comes, and check it out thoroughly.
Not that I really have time to write a bunch of articles promoting affiliate products - I've been noticing that my Net marketing to-do list is filled to overflowing and seems to get longer every day. But this is one idea that's definitely worth exploring more.
