Survived the Week

I'm feeling more than a little smug. I've had just a horrible week with my off-line work. I made a serious timing mistake. I put all my deadlines on one-page monthly calendars which are the tabs in my Daytimer. I had three deadlines on August 30, and since there wasn't enough room, AND there was an extra line of boxes underneath the last week in August, I wrote one deadline in the August 30 box, and then put the other two deadlines in the boxes underneath.
For the past two weeks, I've been thinking that I had an extra week this month. It wasn't until last weekend when I took a look and realized that rather than having a deadline on a Monday and then two deadlines on the following Monday, ALL THREE FELL ON THE SAME DAY.
It was quite a shocker, I have to say. I normally juggle several deadlines a day, but I do this by planning for it well ahead of time.
But I got through it all. Sent the last assignment off last night, and can now take a bit of a breather. And I'm especially proud because I've been able to keep posting here!
